Like two drops of water
When the ladies challenge us to throw ourselves into the water , it is not about the rain that I'm thinking, I think about the waves ahead soon ... Moreover, when you'll read these lines, we will be far, far from the gray and freezing cold!
Last fancyworks to slip into the suitcase to celebrate the start!
Wrap Skirt from Book Cotton Linen and Liberty by Citronille
Shorts from Timeless Children by Citronille (Size 6 years in width and 8 years in length)
Waves of coordinated fabrics. Simple models that lend themselves to every whim.
We dressed in sarong and shorts ... Mother and son duo for the totally irresistible Fancyworks Counter theme.
Cotton Kakinoki black and Kokoro watermelon (Petit Pan) associated with a simple black poplin
A quick look to my first 13th Challenge...
... and we'll end with a big dip into the gallery and a trip to the lovely Fancyworks Counter
See you soon!
My little man
A Wednesday for us, a sunny Wednesday, perfect time for small fittings and pictures...
A "it scratches" quickly countered by adding a scarf around the neck.
The pictures speak for themselves: the jacket is adopted... and mum is in heaven!
We even enjoyed this beautiful day by going out wearing the jacket... without complaining!
Arthur was very proud to "manage" with the buttons...
and I was very moved to discover the joys of Thursday buttoned up with Friday.
A little man very proud of his boy bracelet, knotted with four hands in the morning.
Pretty bracelet made of DMC cotton dark blue, gray and mustard ... already lost!
Forgotten a few hours later in the music room, how sad...
Origin of this new whim, ideas and link to THE tutorial: this message
Another link for the bracelets freaks: here
One last picture ... never get tired of this scamp face!
Thank you all for your visits and your lovely comments!
The 2000th comment was left on the last post, you realize!
It's something ... Many thanks for all the encouragement!
Act of gluttony
Softness to the touch, a delight to knit ...
Tweed effects, so greedy, like hazelnut or praline.
This wool makes you want to take some more ... and not to leave a crumb!
My little guy will be so cute in his new jacket!
Jacket adapted from model 19 of Phildar Pitchoun No. 76
4.5 and 5.0 mm needles - Size 8 years
Wool Fonty Super Tweed color 02 (light brown)
But the judgment for my crime of gluttony is not decided yet... watch out for the verdict of the person concerned.
Will I escape from the dreaded "it scratchs" that relegates a knit to his drawer to life, verdict without appeal and without mitigating circumstances for all the time and the care that was provided?
Think I'll go and kill time and and anxiety in the gallery ... Bulimia of Caramels and Chocolates for a challenge to be enjoyed without moderation
Small school supply
Only supply homemade for the back to school... a pencil case for Wednesday's lesson, even on Wednesday you can learn, German for example, and for German lessons you need pencil case and colors.
Languages are learned in color ...
Coated cotton Wasabi blue (Petit Pan) lined with Navy dot fabric (Ma petite Mercerie)
Details in cotton Kokoro azure (Petit Pan)
Finally no modification to the tutorial Bicolor slab pencil case from Aux sacs, etc ... The visible seams are really not disturbing!
While mummy sews, Arthur tinkers with daddy
I let you admire their work!
In extremis
September storms, snow in December.
Case in extremis before the storm.
Frilly and flowers.
Red-orange, pink, ocher.
Variation of the Gathered clutch by Noodlehead
Hanako red fabric with a touch of Mikko red (Petit Pan)
Recycled lining (Will he recognize his beautiful peach shirt?)
Frivolity and femininity to tempt fate on this day of great challenge.
Indian summer shown in its colors, do not forget the blue sky if you want to see it again before winter comes.
Here it thunders.
Still thundering in September, snow will be high.
With a smile
Summer last dress
Back at work by a lovely sun - and some canucule days. Still enjoying summer, for a while, before it goes.
Back with all desires et energy for making it.
The desire of a new dress, probably the last for this summer.
Robe 139 du Burda Style du mois de Mai 2012
Jean merveilleusement souple (EdH)
A wide gathered neckline, an empire waist and a slightly flared cut very flattering ... in short, the perfect dress!
The only problem ... It was only defined in large sizes (44 to 52). Never mind, I reduced it to a 40. Too easy!
A look at the details, in particular the invisible zipper,
sewn my way again (50% common sense / 50% hack... if anybody kwows a real tutorial...)
and balloon sleeves which bias sewing was a great time (of loneliness, I mean!)
So? Isn't it just perfect for me?
H is for...
High
in Avoriaz
the Gorges du Fier
Fair in Mulhouse
Top of the tower of the medieval castle of Montrottier
Admiring the view from the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg
H is for... Hungry
Goats of Lindarets Village
Hungry again (I will not relate the great restaurant, oh no I won't) ... but also H for Hurrah! (Sir Arthur catches butterflies with his bare hands, lizards also by the way, and puts a beating to his parents during his first mini golf!)
H is for... Holidays!
Fireworks
... or wet firecracker?
This 13th challenge which falls on 29 made me perplexed!
An explosion of buttons
Antique buttons right out of my treasure boxes,
matching of pearl stars,
embroidered on a silk and cotton antique rose sepia fabric (EdH)
Sparks of pearl, pearls and embroidered dots
An outfit which I don't know what to think about.
Just escaped from the carnival parade?
The skirt (BurdaStyle - Sidonie) which I wanted to make a nice surprise to my husband (as he always regrets I only wear pants) have already been criticized enough to demoralize a much less complexed person
Wet firecracker or not, can't wait to see the fireworks of the other supersticious girls
